Induction Program
The San Luis Valley BOCES Induction Program is the result of a collaborative endeavor by the fourteen San Luis Valley school districts and San Luis Valley BOCES. New teachers are enrolled in the program and work with mentors in their district to participate in an induction program designed to aid their transition into the district and enhance their professional capacity. Successfully completing the induction program allows the teacher to be eligible to apply for a professional license from the Colorado Department of Education. Both mentors and inductees are eligible for professional development graduate credit from Adams State College.
